Windows Update not working

Dear all,

I installed Windows 7 yesterday, using WinToUSB. But the updates are not working, I tried several online help websites, including Microsoft. Some of them said to install IE 11 and its prerequisites (which are Windows updates) but each time the Windows Update gives random error codes. Tried all, but doesn't work. Can anyone guide me in installing all updates offered?  Can anyone remote assist and help?

Regards,

Sreerag

This is not a site from which remote service is offered.  Nor am I or almost all the people in this forum Microsoft employees.  We are mostly old timers with extensive experience offering free advice.

Use a Windows 7 installation DVD or USB equivalent ISO.

Follow this procedure for a flawless running Win7 system:

Follow it precisely.  Use an SP1 installer.  If you cannot find one, come back here for further instructions.
