i am running windows 10 2004 and when i click to connect to a new network, it just keeps loading without displaying networks or options (see attached) It will do this forever. I have tried leaving it for 5 minutes and it will still be loading. How do i fix this?

    Hi Anwille,

Thank you for your help. I have done the following with no success.

    • updated wifi driver
    • re-install wifi driver and restart pc
    • RAN DISM and SFC... no integrity violations
    • uninstalled most recent windows update and restarted machine
    • tried to restore to a previous restore point but it encountered an error (0x80042318) which prevented it from restoring. Said it was a volume shadow copy service error.

Please advise what the next steps should be.

    Hi snrygo,

    I'm Anwille, an Independent Advisor.

Please try to update or reinstall your WiFi drivers through these steps: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/upd...

You can try to run sfc checker to scan for corrupt files:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-ph/help/929833...

You can also try using DISM if sfc scan didn't help:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/w...

Lastly, if all the above steps didn't work, you may want to do a system restore or uninstall updates. You can read more through this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/rec...

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need more assistance.
