Two factor authentication code being texted to landline

I forgot the password to log in to my new computer.  I apparently set up two-factor authentication, but provided the phone number of my landline.  The authentication code to change my password is being texted to a landline.  With two factor authentication I'm not allowed to reset my password using any of the methods Microsoft offers.  What can I do?

Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you’re facing issues with resetting the password for Microsoft account. I will certainly try my best to assist you with the issue.

I would suggest you to refer the section I'm not getting my verification code. What do I do? from the article Microsoft account security info & verification codes and see if that helps.

In addition, you can get in touch with the Accounts & Billing team for further assistance with the issue.
