This doesn't work Still have the same issue. The cause is the TIWORKER.EXE is there any documentation on how to fix this? the .exe is not using a lot of CPU, I dont see a performance issue i can be on a video call, using Office or just browsing the web and it crashes all previous DMP files pointed to TIWORKER.EXE being the bugcheck that led to a reboot.
TiWorker.exe causing BugCheck BSOD
Hi,
I have a Win 10 1909 that has been getting a BSOD daily for about the past 2/3 months. I've ran scf /scannow, dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth, and ran driver identifier and nothing was identified as being the cause. When i check the DMP file it states the culprit is tiworker.exe.
I know this file is related to Windows Update so i can't outright disable it but it's looking like the only option for the meantime.
How do it fix this issue? I haven't found anything that has worked so far.

2021-01-29T09:44:55+00:00 Hi,
Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.
I understand that you’re facing issues with Blue Screen on your PC, and I certainly appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve the issue.
We will certainly look into this for you.
For further clarity on the issue, please respond to the questions below:
- Which build version of Windows 10 are you using currently?
- Are you aware of any changes made to the PC prior to which you weren’t facing this issue?
- When exactly do you receive the Blue Screens?
Refer the article Which version of Windows operating system am I running?
Meanwhile, I would suggest you to refer the article Troubleshoot blue screen errors and see if that helps.
You can also try booting the PC in Safe Mode and see if it crashes. Refer the article Start your PC in safe mode in Windows 10
If the PC is not crash in Safe Mode, then try booting the PC in Clean Boot and see if the PC crashes. Refer the article How to perform a clean boot in Windows
Performing a clean boot will start thecomputer with minimal set of drivers and programs, to determine whether abackground program is causing the issue. Some of the Startup programs will notload after performing a clean boot on the computer. However, that functionalitywill return when you reset the computer to start normally after finishing thetroubleshooting.
If the PC doesn’t crash after performing Clean Boot, then please refer the section How to determine what is causing theproblem after you do a clean bootto identify the root cause of the issue.
Note: Please refer thesection Reset the computer to start normally after clean boottroubleshootingto boot the computer in to normal mode aftertroubleshooting
However, it would be great if you could upload the files on OneDrive and share the link to us. If we can analyze the dump file, we may be able to narrow down the cause of the error. The Dump files are located in C:\Windows\MiniDump folder.
Let us know if you need any further assistance, we will be glad to assist you.
Regards,
