Hi Jayakanth2005, I am Paulo. I'm an Independent Advisor and an individual like you inclined to help.

Make sure that the Cortana app is updated.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-bil...

If it is already up-to-date, try to reset the app. Go to Settings > Apps > Select Cortana > Advanced options. Click on Terminate to stop the app then choose Reset. Log in again and see if it fixes the issue

Let me know if this helps.

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you are facing issues while using Cortana on your PC. For further clarity on the issue, please respond to the questions below:

    1. Which build version of Windows 10 are you using currently?
    2. Are you aware of any changes made to the PC prior to which you weren’t facing this issue?

Refer the article Which version of Windows operating system am I running?

Meanwhile, one of the things that you can try is to re-register Cortana and see if that helps.

    1. PressWindows + Xkeys together and click onWindows PowerShell (Admin)
    2. Accept the UAC prompts
    3. Now type in the following command and hit Enter:

    Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers Microsoft.Windows.Cortana | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"} 4. Restart the PC

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards,

    Prakhar Khare
