    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you’re facing issues with USB drives on your PC. I will certainly try my best to assist you with the issue.

For further clarity on the issue, please respond to the questions below.

    1. Which build version of Windows 10 are you using currently?
    2. Are you aware of any changes made to the PC prior to which you weren’t facing this issue?
    3. What is the make and model of the PC?
    4. Have you tried connecting the devices to other USB ports?

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to try uninstalling the chipset drivers and see if that works.

    1. Press Windows key + R. This will open Run. Alternatively, you can go to Start and search for Run.
    2. In Run dialog box, type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.
    3. Now expand Universal Serial Bus controllers
    4. Right click on USB Root Hub and click on Uninstall
    5. Check the box next to Delete the driver software for this device.
    6. Click on OK
    7. Restart the PC

Let us know how it goes. If the issue persists, we will certainly assist you further.
