Thank you! I'll check again their compatibility now that the RAM modules are posted. I'll be right back :)
Blue Screen Error
Hi,
After replacing my motherboard with a MSI b450-a pro max and cpu with a ryzen 5 3600 I installed all of the necessary drivers for the amd chipset, graphics card, etc but I am met with a blue screen about 10-15 minutes into any game that I play. I checked my event viewer to see what is happening before the crash and what the crash message is. I noticed that I would receive this identical message just before every crash that occurred:
"The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) did not load:
dam
EhStorClass"
I don't know exactly what this means, the error messages on the crash are:
"The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000007e (0xffffffffc0000005, 0xfffff80347346b66, 0xffff848366be9488, 0xffff848366be8cc0). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: f68e473b-fd92-408b-876d-c9cff977c7ef."
any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

2021-01-18T18:14:26+00:00 Hi Miguel,
After flashing the bios and installing the listed drivers I attempted to boot a game to see if the problem was fixed. After booting the game, within at least 20 seconds, the screen turned black and my computer restarted on its own. After doing this I attempted to launch a game again to see if the results were consistent but after the second attempt of booting a game I was met with a black screen in which I was able to hear things still happening but not see.
After doing some research, I found online that some people were experiencing similar problems and found that their ram was not compatible with their motherboard. After reading this I looked to see if my ram was and it turns out it isn't in the list of compatible ram. While reading this article it also said that the problem could be arising from a faulty power supply. I do not have a second pc that I would be able to swap parts with to debug and would preferably not like to purchase unnecessary parts to breakdown what is wrong with the pc.

I didn't list my ram before but it is: T-Force 8 Gb DDR4 3000, model: thwd48g3000hc16cbk

2021-01-18T17:11:32+00:00 Okay Aiden!
A multicolored dotted line, that seems like something pretty scary. It happens in BIOS so it's impossible to be a drivers' issue. The main culprit that I am seeing is probably that the motherboard needs a BIOS update. Please check your BIOS version, and flash the newest one from your motherboard's website, that is here: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B450-A-...
Even if drivers may not be the cause, I would anyways recommend you to install and update all its drivers, found here: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B450-A-...
Please try flashing the newest BIOS and seeing if the issue persists. If it does, we'll check over other possible solutions. If anything is overclocking, please stop.
Let me know how things go!
Hugs,
Miguel Ángel :)

2021-01-18T16:32:35+00:00 CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Graphics Card: EVGA Nvidia Geforce 1050 ti
Motherboard: MSI B450-A pro max
Hard Drives:
1x250 GB Samsung ssd
1x2 Tb standard Hard drive
Power Supply: Can't remember the brand but its 650W
Since the post that I made, whenever I enter a game my computer screen will either turn black or will white screen and I can still hear sound and talk to people over the internet. After I reboot my pc, the option to enter bios will appear and then it will take me to a black screen with a multicolored dotted line across the center of the screen. If I reboot my pc it will continuously do this until I enter bios and then continue the boot.

2021-01-17T20:44:48+00:00 Hey there Aiden!
My name is Miguel Ángel and I'm an independent advisor, also a Microsoft user just like you! I'll try to help you today with your issue.
Before everything, I'd love if you could upload the minidump files located in C:\Windows\Minidump to either OneDrive or WeTransfer so I can have a look at them. These are files that Windows creates when the system has a fatal error and crashes and it may give us enough information!
I'd love if you could send me your whole system specifications, so as to check if there's something wrong. That including CPU, RAM module(s), graphics card, power supply, cooling system, hard drives, motherboard and all other useful information.
I'll wait for your reply.
Hugs and best of luck!
Miguel Ángel :)
