Problem with Windows 10 printing

My family have two android mobile phones, one Android tablet and an Apple ipad. In addition we have a Toshiba laptop running Windows 10.

When printing from any of the devices it s done wirelessly  to a HP Envy 5540 all-in one printer.

All of the devices print perfectly apart from the laptop which will only print in black and white, and only one sided.

Windows 10 is up to date, as are the printer drivers. My browser is Edge, but I have tried other browsers with similar results.

I have run both the Windows troubleshooter and the HP support troubleshooter but they show no problems.

I have checked print settings and printer preferences ad nauseum but to no effect.

I am at my wits end. Can anyone please help?

    I understand that you have problems with the printer to print in color.

    Please follow the procedures below and check if the problem still exists.

    2. Uninstall all HP programs for the printer;
    3. Press Windows + R, type services.msc and click OK;
    4. Look for Print Spooler, right-click and choose properties, click stop;
    5. Press Windows + R, type spool and click OK, access the printers folder, if you have any files, delete them all and go back to services.msc;
    6. In the properties of the Print Spooler service, click Start again and then OK;
    7. Press Window + i, select Devices;
    8. In the menu choose, Printers and Scanners, if your printer is still in the list, select and click remove;
