Communication Underlying Transaction Error While Connecting from VPN to my Windows Server

The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID

{2593F8B9-4EAF-457C-B68A-50F6B8EA6B54}

and APPID

{15C20B67-12E7-4BB6-92BB-7AFF07997402}

to the user JANA\Jana SID (S-1-5-21-1130786318-2066305965-2160754586-1001) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC) running in the application container Unavailable SID (Unavailable). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

Anybody please advice the above Issue

    I'm sorry if the steps didn't work. It seems that the issue is complex than what I expected.

    Hi Jothimani

    Could you please try turning off the User account Control settings (it can be perform in the Control panel or in the Registry). and verify if you can connect now to the VPN with permission.

    In Control Panel:

    1. Type UAC in the search field on your taskbar.
    2. Click Change User Account Control settings in the search results.
    3. drag the slider down to Never notify and click OK.
    4. Reboot your computer for the change to take effect.

    In Regedit:

    1. Type REGEDIT in the search field on your taskbar.
    2. Click REGEDIT in the search results.
    3. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies
    4. Select System.
    5. Find and doubleclick EnableLUA
    6. Change its Value data to 0
    7. click ok.
    8. Reboot your computer for the change to take effect.
