I have a EVOO 11.6 Convertible Touchscreen Laptop with the stylus, I purchased this laptop 20 May 2020, and I started having problems after 1 month. I always have trouble signing in. When I sign in with my pin, it tells me "something went wrong and your pin isnt available (status: 0xc000006cd, substatus: 0xc0070070). Click to setup up pin again. Well I reset with a new pin from another device, and I get the same error message. When i try to log in with a password, it says my password is incorrect, and to reset from locked screen (which I cannot) and/or go to accountlive.com/password/ reset, which I go to my cell phone or another password and I redo the password, and it still will not let me log in. I work from home and I do not have time for these issues to kerp hapoening every week. What is the solution, should I gove a bad review and get a new type of laptop? Thanks

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

We understand the concern as you are unable to login to the computer. In this scenario, we would suggest you to perform these steps and check if that helps.

Step 1: Connect to a different network.

We would suggest you to connect the PC to a Ethernet connection or to a different Wireless network and check.

Step 2: Sign in Safe mode

Press and hold the Shift key from the keyboard and use the mouse click on the power icon in the lock screen and select Restart. This will help you to boot the PC in WinRE mode and then click on **Troubleshoot > Advanced Option >****Startup Settings > Enable Safe Mode > follow the onscreen step.**Now when the PC boots in safe mode, try to sign-in and check if you can login.

Let us know the results. If the issue persists, we will certainly assist you further.
