Hi, my name is Nick and i have problems with csrss.axe(client server runtime process), it uses up to 30% of my GPU in games, when i move mouse cursor or scroll down in task manager.

dwm.axe(desktop windows manager) works fine. Suddenly this problem appeared and disappeared after 2 days, but now it again appeared.

My windows started to restart, shut down and start very slowly. Start and shut down takes 4 minutes, restarting takes over 10 minutes.

 I tried everything:

  1. Updating all my driver
  2. Updating windows
  3. Reinstalling all my drivers
  4. Even reinstalling windows
  5. Disabling some Xbox game bar features
  6. searching for malware with windows defender and Malwarebytes

Nothing helped!!

Could you help me with this issue?

Here is my spec:

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4960k CPU @ 3.50GHz

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970

RAM: 8gb

Motherboard: MSI Z97 PC mate

Please save system journal to evtx file and share it to OneDrive for analysis.

And check drive's health using third-party CrystalDiskInfo tool.

Hi,

I'm Independent Advisor not Microsoft employee or support person. I have deep enough Windows knowledge and you may trust me. It's a pleasure for me to help others and I'll do all my best to help you.

Do you have hard drive or SSD?

Please check system journal (Event Viewer) for possible errors. DistributedCOM errors should be ignored.

Or save system journal to evtx file and share it to OneDrive for analysis.

    Hi Igor

     I have HDD.

I checked system journal and found this.

Image you said that DistributedCOM should be ignored, but they are so many. Is this normal?

There also was some Service control manager errors.Image
