Does Microsoft hire only imbeciles?

People use W10 to do work. I left my computer for an hour and it updated itself. All my work is gone again. This keeps happening.I have contacted almost 10 different Microsoft employees within the last year, searched this forum, trying to get in touch with the imbecile whoever coded this POS. It has been happening over and over again. There is no method to stop the updates. Anyone who says there is, is a moron. Therefore, that made me very curious about hiring @ Microsoft. Do you guys only hire imbeciles? Who is the biggest and most imbecile of your personnel? Is it the CEO? Is the CEO the most imbecile of all of you? How many times do you imbeciles need to be told that we are losing work because of your incompetence and lack of understanding basic English? UPDATES MESS UP OUR WORK

Hi Mert. I'm Greg, awarded MVP for eleven years, Volunteer Moderator, and Independent Advisor here to help you until this is resolved.

If you want to complain to Microsoft use the Feedback Hub app in Start Menu where developers are tasked to process consumer feedback. But Microsoft will not even see it here because this is a tech forums where we are mostly volunteers trying to help solve your problems.

Here are the present ways to control Updates:

If that is not enough then you can indeed stop Updates by setting a Metered Connection which has worked for every one of thousands I've suggested it to for five years: https://www.howtogeek.com/226722/how-when-and-w...

I would turn them back on periodically when you have the time, to make sure you have the latest security updates.

I hope this helps. Based on what you report back I can answer any questions and may have other steps to perform.
