I have previously had no problem with sound on my Dell PC with windows 10 but suddenly no sound and I find a message saying no audio output device is installed. On Device Manager against "Intel(R) Smart Sound Technology (Intel RSST)Audio Controller" is a yellow triangle and message Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)  . I tried to update but it says the best driver already installed. How can I fix this please.

Hi! My name is Anderson Souza. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you, I'll be glad to help you today.

You can try to do a system restore to undo what caused the problem. In the link below is an official guide from Microsoft showing how to perform this procedure:

    https://support.microsoft.com/help/12415/window...

Looking for "Restore from a system restore point" (choose a date prior to the problem if available).

Thankyou Anderson Souza. I had already done a restart with no change but before i did a restore i backed up my wildlife records. I then saw someone had resolved error 43 by unplugging their computer. Tried that and it worked! Thank you again.
