Team,

We have been working on this Project to ensure that the end user Laptop is able to listen to WinRM HTTPS port i.e. 5986.

For the same we have generated a certificate by the hostname and applied it to the Laptop.

We also made some changes to allow trusted hosts.

We have disabled the firewall completely.

No luck with the above steps.

Can someone guide us how can we resolve this issue?

Regards,

Nik

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you’re facing issues with WinRM HTTPS port.

I would suggest you to refer the articles How to configure WINRM for HTTPS and How To: Configure WINRM for HTTPS to see if that helps.

However, we do have a dedicated forum where you should find support. I would suggest you to post your query on Windows on Q&A,, where we have support professionals with expertise on Storage Spaces to assist you with your query.
