Hello guys. I have dell core i5 laptop with 2gb ddr3 ram. I upgraded my ram to 10gb by adding 8gb pc3 ram stick to the 2nd dimm. After that when i try to open it to the installed windows 10 it keeps showing these error messege. " system thread exception not handled pci.sys ".

solutions i take: reseting bios, take out of cmos battery, even when i try to boot from usb, the error appears. But when i pulled out the 8gb ram, the pc works with 2gb. I think the 8gb ram works fine cz in bios option, the laptop stays normal for long time. So, can any one helps me with this problem pls?

    Hi Abdulwahid,

I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this.

If you remove the 2GB stick of RAM and just use the 8GB stick, does your laptop boot up correctly?

If not, that stick of RAM may not be compatible with your laptop.

Please provide the full details of that stick of RAM you have purchased, that will be printed on a label on that stick of RAM.
