How to Restrict Remote Access ? Help Alert !

Hello Tech Savvys,

Remote Access to one's system is a potential threat, so I thought of restricting all sorts of remote access to my system via unchecking " Allow Remote Access Connections " under control panel >remote access settings. However to ensure whether disabling the feature made any good I tried accessing my system via zoom remote access, guess what I was 100% able to remotely access my system. can someone give me a way to restrict remote access to my system via any mode/source/system app/third party app? Thanks in Advance.
