I had this very same problem years ago,but I was able to solve it by simply just connecting my laptop to the internet.

Now,nothing....not a thing!!....works.

Connect to the internet? Done that

Change ur password on another device? Done that

See if u can Access ur MSaccount on another device? I can

All I keep getting is "YOUR DEVICE IS OFFLINE. PLEASE SIGN IN WITH THE LAST PASSWORD USED ON THIS DEVICE"

I even tried to reset my pc,but I guess I will need password for that too as it asked me to choose an account.

It's beginning to irritate me.

I need help!,any other suggestions please!!??

1.) prior to this issue, there are no changes I am aware of,the last thing i did was watch a movie, switched it on the next day at work and I got this.

2.) this is the only account I have on my laptop ,and it's the administrator account,I had no idea i was supposed to have a "local account",Had no idea I was running a "non local" one infact

3.) I am infact with an ethernet cable right now,it says and shows on the bottom-right that I am connected, but siginnin still say device is offline

P.S: i am pretty sure i still remember my password because I stayed up all night to reset my pc,on resetting it ,I had to choose an account, which is The only account on it,and i input the password and it went on to reset.

After resseting it asked me to sign in,it still says i am offline and safe mode says incorrect password,😪so I just lost all my apps for nothing

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you receive an error, ‘Your Device is offline’ when trying to sign in to the computer. I’ll certainly assist you with the issue.

    However, please let us know:

    1. Are you aware of any changes made to the computer prior to this issue?
    2. Do you have any other user account on the computer?

As you have already changed the password for your Microsoft account, I would suggest you to connect the computer to internet using an Ethernet cable, restart the computer and then try signing in to the computer.

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards,
