Set Login Time Limit To Windows 10 Using CMD

Question

Hello ,

I have set below login time restriction to my windows 10 home edition - admin account ( I have only one account)

I am getting permission to login only at 10:30 Am, 30 minutes delay from set time 10:00 Am

I am also not getting any message indicating my login session is finished

Can someone please help me solve this problem

My windows is updated & time in CMD is also set properly

In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

• What is the Version and Build of Windows 10 installed on the PC? (Type winver in Windows search/Run command)

We would suggest you to remove the time limit and try re-adding and check. Refer these steps on how to remove and re add the time limit:

1. Click on Start menu and type CMD, right click on CMD and select Run as Administrator.
2. Type the following command and press Enter: net user <USERACCOUNT> /times:all
3. Restart the PC.
4. Click on Start menu and type CMD, right click on CMD and select Run as Administrator.
5. Type the following command and press  Enter: net user <USERACCOUNT> /times:<DAYS>, <TIME>
6. Restart the PC.

thanks for your response

Version and build of my OS - 21H1 & 19043.1055

i removed & added restriction many times its still the same

exactly 30 minutes delay in login and 30 mins delay in logout

I checked system time in CMD, it also matches with my computer time
