    Hi Stef,

Please try rebooting your PC, then try running the tool again. You can also verify your account in the Windows settings account section. Press Windows key + I then go to Account > You info. In the right pane click Verify. Once done verifying, run the PC Health check tool.

    Best regards,

    Van

    Hi Stef,

Kindly open the User account, press Windows key + r then type netplwiz then press enter. highlight your local account then click reset password. You should be able to reset the password without the old password. Note: make sure that the account your using has admin rights.

If you can't change the password using your current account. You can try using the built-in Administrator account to reset the local account password.

    Best regards,

    Van

Local password is PIN -  .. and I am not sure there is another password even it shows me "wrong password" (windows password) .. there is no way to reset it without knowing the old password I don't know.

    sounds like catch 22, no?!

Hi, I am Van. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Windows user like you. I'll be glad to help you today.

This means that it is asking for the current local password. If you didn't set up any local account. Just leave it blank and click next when it asks for the current Windows password. It should let you pass through it and continue the process.

    Best regards,

    Van
