    If that is all that is listed in the operating system drop down menu there, that's it.

    And 8.1 does not come for free anyway.

    You check at ASUS to see if they supply Windows 8.1 Drivers for your exact model number. https://www.asus.com/support/Download-Center/

    If they don't forget about installing 8/8.1.
