Hi, Microsoft .NET Framework gives an error on computer startup. I'm not sure what's causing it, I tried repairing all installations of the .NET Framework but it still gives the same error. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Here's a screenshot:

Here's the detailed error report:

************** JIT Debugging **************

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

application or computer (machine.config) must have the

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.

The application must also be compiled with debugging

enabled.

For example:

<configuration>

<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />

</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Hi Dedrick,

Delete that SecurityCheck.vbs file from the Startup folder

Restart (not shut down) your PC.

    I've tried deleting the file, this file gives an error saying that the CheckDisk can't be found.

    C:\Users\Dedrick\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

    Hi Dedrick

    Not a lot of information is available for that executable, it seems to be part of some PC cleaning software suite.

    The best option is to delete that file, then check if you get a different error that would indicate what software it belongs to and then you will know what software is throwing the error on the .Net Framework.

    Hi Dedrick,

    I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this.

    That error is caused by the following file

    C:/Users/Dedrick/AppData/Roaming/DataBase/CheckDisk.exe

    That is not a system file, it is some software you have installed on your system

    Do you recognize that as something you have installed, if so, re-install that software.

    If you do not recognize that, open File Explorer, on the View ribbon, temporarily turn on 'Hidden Items' then navigate to find that CheckDisk.exe file

    Right click that and select Properties, then select the Details Tab

    Please post a screenshot showing the contents of that Database folder and the Details tab on the properties box.
