Automatic Repair Bootloop

I turned on my laptop and found myself at "Preparing Automatic Repair" I've tried everything but to no success.

  • Restarting didn't work
  • Using command prompt didn't work
  • I tried to factory reset my laptop and it asks me to input my password, I've put the correct password in multiple times (I've checked that it is the correct password) and it says it's not right.
  • Even if i manage to get to the factory reset page it says that there is not enough space on my drive to install windows, I am unable to make space as I can't access anything.
  • I also tried booting it in safe mode, when i select the option the screen goes black and just brings me back to square one.

    Hi Shua,

I am Sumit, an Independent Advisor.

Let us try repairing the existing OS. You may need to reinstall windows as Factory reset doesn't work.

On a working computer, create an Installation media of Windows 10 that allows you to repair existing Windows Installation.

    Create a USB Flash Drive

Boot from the USB Flash drive-Make sure you have disabled Secure boot/Fast boot in BIOS Settings.

Then open Advanced Startup options after the computer boots from USB. Click Repair your computer at the first screen that says Install now.

Select Startup repair, let it finish the job and see if the computer can boot afterward.

If that doesn't help, consider doing a clean install after rescuing your files.
