Taskbar Preview Replaced with Text

Question

My computer randomly replaces the taskbar preview with text. An example is shown:

I have no idea why that is. It will show the taskbar preview normally, then after a while, it goes to text. This is really annoying, and I couldn't find a solution. Thank you.
P.S. I will try restarting my computer after I post this and tell if it helps.

Is your issue still persists or fixed after the restart?

It looks like the Taskbar thumbnail preview has been disabled. To enable it kindly do the following:

Start > Control Panel > System > Advanced system settings under Related Settings > In the Advanced tab click Settings under Performance > Check Enable Peek to Enable Thumbnail Previews > Restart your PC.

I restarted it and it fixed the issue. If anyone knows how to prevent this, that would be appreciated.
