Can't select 5G network

Hello,

I have 2g and 5g Broadband internet connection and I would like to be able to connect to the 5g on my computer as I need the faster speeds for my son's online schooling. However, only the 2g network shows up on the list of available networks. Is there something that I can do in the settings to allow the 5g network to appear on the list?

Thank you.

Unfortunately I could not find a manual for your laptop but some other information says it does not support 5 GHz WiFi. Please consult with Gateway support.

Thank you so much for your response in trying to help. My apologies. Yes, I meant to say 5GHZ WiFi connection. I have a GWTC116-1BK laptop. My router is the Sagemcom Wave 2 RAC2V1S.

Please check PC manual if your mobile module supports 5G.

Please note, 5G is mobile connection.

Coulf it be you are talking about 5GHz WiFi connection?

What are the exact models of your router and computer?
