KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED - intelppm.sys
Hi,
Trying to install Windows 10 to new PC and get BSOD KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED - intelppm.sys every time during instalation. Even if Windows get installed successfully it crashes all the time after. Installed all Windows updates and recomended by Windows drivers - still crashing. Without any CPU load system survives a bit longer, but even small CPU load like 1 YouTube tab in Edge causes crashing. Have the same behaviour with 2 different kits of RAM and SSD that are perfecrly working on my another PC. I suppose this is something with CPU power supply chain on motherboard. Could you please help to check what is the reason? Crash dumps - https://1drv.ms/u/s!AnLxJBN8lNz9iEDgTZnGHlo9PLDn?e=ocfBS8 .

2021-06-02T14:53:06+00:00 Hi Igor,
Thank you for you reply!) Tried repairing with DISM.exe - no results. My BIOS does not have EIST option, but I tried to switch OFF in BIOS Intel Speed Step, Speed Shift, RTH, and Turbo Boost - also no results.
I found that PC becomes stable only after I switch HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/Current Control Set/Services/intelppm/Start=4, i.e. switching OFF intelppm. But as a result CPU clock becomes always locked at base speed of 2.3 GHz and no turbo boost is available, so I get only half of CPU performance.

KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED error indicates that a kernel-mode program generated an exception that the error handler did not catch.
intelppm.sys is a driver responsible for CPU power management. Please try to update BIOS, try to turn off EIST, repair system files by
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
command from Windows PowerShell (administrator) environment.

2021-06-02T22:35:05+00:00 Unfortunately this likely means problems with motherboard or CPU.
What are the exact models of CPU and motherboard and whar is BIOS version?
