Hi,

Once I connect the bluetooth dongle for xbox one controller I get an error on my PC - "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)"
The same result is on a laptop.

I've tried reinstalling the drivers several times with no luck.

Any ideas?

I have the restore point option disabled, therefore there are no points to come back to.

Try to return to a previous point.

    • Open Start.
    • Search for Create a restore point, and click the top result to open the System Properties experience.
    • Click the System Restore button.
    • Click the Next button.
    • Select the restore point that you want to use on your computer.
    • Click the Scan for affected programs button to understand the apps that will no longer be available because they're added after the creation of the restore point.
    • Click the Close button.
    • Click the Next button.
    • Click the Finish button.

    Hi Ana,

    thanks for the swift response.
It's not a bluetooth issue, since I do not have bluetooth in my PC, it's an issue with the adapter you plug in to USB Port to connect via bluetooth with the controller.

I've done, step by step, the CMD stuff, but with no luck. Still the Bluetooth Adapter in the device manager is listed as an "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)".
