Hi,
I am trying to update my computer as it says my version of Windows has reached the end of service.
It's trying to do a feature update to windows 10, version 20H2 and the error code is 0xc1900204.

I have tried restarting, using the windows trouble-shooter, even the "Get Help" button, where the method provided didn't work (and also didn't explain what to do if I had errors during the process).
I am concerned about the security of my computer whilst I am using this older version of Windows 10. Please let me know how I can fix this error code.

    Hello, my fellow Windows user,

First of all, for any update issues regarding the security or the cumulative updates, always ensure 3 critical component on the Windows update services list to be on or started, this includes Windows Update, Windows Installer, Background Iintelligent Transfer. It is advisable to keep this as Automatic if possible and also you may view these services on Task Manager. The next step is to go to Settings, search for Delete Temporary Storage and of course turn on the Storage Sense, and then go to Temporary Storage to initiate the service, which in the end you will need to Delete The Windows Log and all related temporary storage in it, as suggested by the system. Then you go to Windows Update and it should work like a charm, trust me, I was troubled by these for at least 7 months and ends up trying on bash scripting, reset redownload and all sort of things before settling with this method on Storage Sense as I am using HDD disk drive, I believe and hope it helps your cause. Thank you and have a nice day : )

I have followed this article already and it sends me back to the same article, and I am still stuck. It seems others are having trouble updating to version 20H2 from version 1909 like I am.
