Windows 11

Hi

After running PC Health Check on my laptop (Asus R752N) of only 2 years old, to my surprise, will not be able to run Windows 11. The internet is full of articles mentioning the reasons why. Most of them talk about the TPM needed to be enable in order for laptops to be compatible to Windows 11. Everything seems to be running just fine on my side: The TPM is on, I have more that enough available hard disk space left (500 GB) but I am not sure if the processor is compatible: Intel (R) Pentium (R) CPU N42000 @ 1.10GHz 1.10 GHz. Any thought?

    Hi Alain,

I apologize, since Windows 11 is not yet finalized until its official release. Maybe Microsoft might update the system requirements, and hopefully, our system hardware will be added to the list.

    Best regards,

    Van

Hi, I am Van. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Windows user like you. I'll be glad to help you today.

Unfortunately, your processor model is not on the list of supported Intel processors for Windows 11. You check the listing at the link below.

I think it will run, because my brother's is a Pentium 3556U running Win10 21H1, and the processor is NOT even listed in the supported chipsets. Satisfies other requirements like Secure boot and UEFI.

    Thx Joel13 B-) 2.0

I hope you are right on that one. Anyway, let s see what the take the others on the platform ... Thx for your reply ...
