I am trying to install the free trial of minecraft bedrock for windows 10 but it always gives me a screen saying that my device isn't linked to my microsoft account, even though i have checked and it is. I don't know what the problem or issue is but this is very annoying to deal with as i want to enjoy playing minecraft. Someone reach out if there is a solution to this.

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you’re facing issues with downloading Minecraft from Microsoft Store, and I certainly appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve the issue.

We will certainly look into this for you.

For further clarity on the issue, please respond to the questions below:

    1. Which build version of Windows 10 are you using currently?
    2. Are you aware of any changes made to the PC prior to which you weren’t facing this issue?
    3. Have you signed in with the same Microsoft through which the purchase was made?

Refer the article Which version of Windows operating system am I running?

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and see if that helps.

    Method 1: Run App Troubleshooter

Run the Store App troubleshooter to identify and fix problems.

    1. Press Windows + I key together to open Settings.
    2. Click on Update & Security and then click on Troubleshoot.
    3. On the right hand pane scroll down and look for Windows Store Apps.
    4. Click on it and select Run the troubleshooter.
    5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

    Method 2: Re-register Microsoft Store

Run the PowerShell command to re-register store.

    1. Press Windows + X keys together and click on Windows PowerShell (Admin).
    2. Now type in the command and hit enter: Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
    3. Restart the PC.

Method 3: Test in new user account

Create a new user account and check if you’re able to use Microsoft Store normally. Refer the article Create a local user or administrator account in Windows 10

Let us know if you need any further assistance, we will be glad to assist you.

    Regards,
