Device does not register mouse clicks

My laptop has been having issues with registering clicks. On occasion, the laptop becomes unresponsive to clicks and i have to restart it by holding down the power button. This is extremely irritating. Any solutions for this

    If that didn't work. Try each below.

    1. Press Windows key + X and open Device Manager

    Expand Mice and other pointing device

    then select your mouse

    Uninstall the driver.

    then restart your computer.

    1. A background application or service can also cause this problem. Try performing a clean boot.

    1. Use System Restore - then select a restore point/date before this problem started.

    Then choose "ISO"

    Once it is downloaded click or open the file using the windows explorer

    Then open or click "setup" to run.
