    Hi Compute()

    I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this.

    Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu)

    Go to Apps.

    Scroll down the list of installed to find HP Support Assist.

    Select that and choose to uninstall that software.

    That should stop that error form occurring after you restart your PC

    How would I uninstall the utility, or where would I download the utility on the support page on the HP website?

    Hi Compute()

    How are you? I hope you are doing good.

    Welcome to Microsoft Community. I am Juliet, an independent advisor. It's my pleasure to help you today. I know how frustrating this may be for you but I'll do my very best to help you :)

    I would suggest you follow daveM121's suggestion:

    "That error is caused by HP Support Assistant, you should uninstall that utility, then restart your PC and see if that error has gone

    If you want to continue to using that utility, go to the support page for your PC on the HP website and download that from there"

    I hope it helps! Let me know the results.

    Please Let me know if you have more questions or the above method didn't work for you, I'll be more than happy to assist you further :)
