Many thanks for replying to my question.

I got the pack for windows 10 pro, just like in the picture. Although the inner covering of mine was white not blue. So i guess it is an OEM pack.

I bought it 3 months back. But opened it just today. I did not install the operating system from the given CD. But installed it through the internet. and used trial version. When i tried to install the key today for activation, it says cannot activate my windows and to check the key or buy a new one.

I am a bit confused why the key does not work...

Please use DVD to install Windows.

I'm sorry, there is no any Windows 10 trial version, only Windows 10 Enterprise evaluation version.
