I am trying to repair my computer in Automatic Repair on Windows 10. However, when I try to run command prompt in this mode it insists I need an administrator account, which i do not have and was actually going to create with command prompt. How do I work around this?

Hello Greg, my name is Marco and I am an Independent Advisor. I will do my best to help you.

You need to open CMD as admin mode.

Open Windows start menu and type: cmd

Right-click on Command Prompt and click " Run as admin "

You will now be in admin mode in the command prompt.

    Is it a laptop?

If yes, remove the battery and AC adapter.

Press and hold the power button for 20 seconds, replace all and see if it will boot up normally.

The problem is I cannot get to Windows start menu because my computer is locked into the Automatic Repair loop and will not get out of it
