c /windows/system32/windowspowershell/v1.0/powershell.exe windows 10

This keeps popping up everytime I turn on my brand new pc.

If i press close, it appears again, forever

If i “copy to clipboard” , nothing happens

If i “see how” that “switch out of S mode appears” at the back.

How do I get rid of this for free ?

Thank you to everyone who will help

Krugher

    Hi Krugher,

I am Dave, an Independent Advisor, I will help you with this.

That popup is generally caused by a utility the system manufacturer has installed on your PC, trying to execute commands in the background, what is the Make and exact Model No. of your PC, that will be printed on a sticker on the bottom casing.

    Hi Krugher90

On an Asus system that is usually caused by a pre-installed utility named Asus System Analysis exe

Uninstalling that utility or stopping that service should stop those popups

    Thank you very much Dave,

How do I do that ? I cannot find Asus System Analysis exe on control panel to uninstall it.

Also, are you sure this may not be caused by a malware ? That’s just what I read on other forums

    Hi Krugher90

Most likely, this is not caused by malware, many people are reporting the exact same problem, what Asus utilities do you find in the list of installed Apps?

Also, click your Start Button, then just type services and press Enter.

In the list of services, what Asus services do you see listed?
