I am getting the error code 0x80070005 when trying to upgrade my device to Windows 11. My organization (That I manage) said I can upgrade my device to Windows 11, But every time I click on "Restart Now" It shows this:

And to make it clear, my organization (that I manage) has put all of the Windows's devices on the "Release Preview" channel of Windows insider.

Hi Ahmad. I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, specializing in Installation, Performance, Troubleshooting and Activation, here to help you.

It's a permissions error with fixes here:

If you haven't yet you can try running the ISO or installation media from https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/software-downlo.... If you make the installation media you'll have it in case you need to Clean Install.

If all else fails you can do a Clean Install following these steps:

But keep in mind these are consumer solutions because Community is an end-consumer forums. You may get better help as an IT Pro at our sister forums for IT Professionals, Q&A forums here: https://docs.microsoft.com/th-th/answers/index.... as Community is strictly an end-consumer forum.

There are also equally good (and sometimes busier) IT Pro forums here:

    https://www.spiceworks.com/

    I hope it helps.
