HiSam
Go to the support page for your PC on the manufacturers website, to check if they provide an automatic updater for your drivers.

I did an SFC scan on my laptop and it said
C:\Windows\system32>canc
'canc' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
I'm not quite sure what this is or what to do with it. Any idea?

Hi Sam
I am Dave, I will help you with this.
That looks like you tried to run a command named canc
Did you not run this command?
sfc /scannow
Please provide a screenshot of that command prompt window, showing that error.
I recently updated my graphics card driver from the "GeForce Experience" application, and it said everything was up to date. I'm sure the chipset drivers are something else, and I'll look for that, but could the GeForce one have anything to do with it? Thanks
Hi Sam
There are so many causes of a system freezing, the cause can be very hard to track down, usually the best first option is to check for drivers updates on the support page for your PC on the manufacturers website, particularly the chipset drivers
You are probably right, I tried again with the correct command and no errors showed up. However, I have another question. I did this because my computer keeps on randomly freezing leaving me only with the option of restarting it. What should I do since no errors showed up? Thanks again
