Windows 10 "No Internet, secured" error message

Hi,

After several months of using my PC with no noticeable dropouts in WiFi reception or bandwidth limitations, my internet decided to pack up spontaneously. I'm using a custom PC that I built myself, using an AMD processor on the B450 chipset. I've downloaded the correct drivers as specified by the manufacturer on their website (Gigabyte) and I've even flashed the BIOS to a newer version for grins to no avail. This issue seems to be localised to my PC alone out of all the other devices on my network (phone, servers, other PCs, laptops, etc.) I've been able to use a personal hotspot between my phone and the PC. Windows is also updated to the latest version.

If anyone has had a similar experience/has an answer, I'd greatly appreciate it if they responded.

Cheers!

Hi LiamGreiner ,

try to perform a clean installation of the Wi-Fi driver:

 https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000022173/wireless.html
Note: The Intel wireless adapter is referred to here but the procedure is applicable for any network adapter model.

Otherwise, try to reset network connections: Open PowerShell or CMD and run as administrator, copy and paste the following commands by pressing enter at the end of each command line:

netsh winsock reset

netsh int ip reset

netsh advfirewall reset
ipconfig /flushdns

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

Restart the computer at the end of all commands.

If the problem persists, try these steps:Settings> Network and Internet> Status, click Network Reset on the right side, follow the instructions. Disable any Proxy Server.

Specify the version and build of Windows 10 and Firewall / Antivirus in use.
