Hi my name is Daniel and i seem to have a problem with my laptop.

You see, i have a laptop with a Quad Core CPU. But when i checked the numbers of processors i have on the system configuration it only showed a maximum of 2.

if anyone has a reason of how and why this is happening please let me know.

Thank You.

Ok, what you can try is going to device manager > configured.

On this tab you right click > uninstall device.

This for everyone. Afterwards restart the computer and test again if this persists.

If it doesn't work, click on the windows button and type msconfg.

Go to the system startup tab>advanced options. Check if the number of processors is with the box checked, if it is unchecked and restart the computer and see if it's back to normal.

    There on the processors tab

Expand it and uninstall all processors in it.

have you drop your laptop lately?

have you spilled anything liquid on the laptop?

have you installed something before this happened?
