Windows 10 update failures

I'm running Version 1909 OS Build 18363.1556   01/11/2019 on an Asus Z87K MB, Intel i5-4460 CPU, 24GB RAM, 1TB HD.

I’ve tried many times to update Win10 each time it fails and was chasing different error codes.

I’ve run a driver update programme & everything is up to date.

Uninstalled Trend Micro AV SW & Acronis True Image.

ChkdsK/R   Done

Sfc scannow   No issues identified

I’ve resorted to trying Windows reinstall from ISO disk keeping Apps and files & this still fails with :

1^st^ Boot SYSPREP_SPECIALIZE operation OxC1900101 – Ox30018

$WINDOWS.-BT  only appears to id Driver Packages “False” for oem58.inf, oem48.inf & oem47.inf which appear to be for Sony Ericsson PC Suite ?? I don’t have this but searching throws up 5 system file entries in C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS and  C:\WINDOWS\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository.

I don’t know where to go from here, any advice gratefully received.

    Thanks, but unfortunately the BIOS is already upto date with the latest version on the ASUS site for this MB.

    You obtain Bios/Driver updates direct from the PC maker or mobo maker support site in the case of a self build
