Hi Cory, so the Windows 10 Store bug is present in Windows 11 too 😃
Please see this post below on how to resolve this issue:
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I just received my Surface Laptop Studio with Windows 11 Home. I opted immediately to update it to 11 Pro, I paid for the upgrade, allowed the system to do what it needed to in the background and it came up with this:
We can't activate Windows on this device because you don't have a valid digital license or product key. If you you do have a valid license or or key, select Troubleshoot below. Error code: 0xC004C003.
It also now shows I have Windows 11 Enterprise.
The Troubleshooter returns:
We can't activate your copy of Windows. Make sure you're connected to the Internet and try again. If you're connected to the Internet and continue seeing this problem, contact your system administrator for more information.
The troubleshooter offers two options, one of which lands me at the MS Store, where I get: "We're not sure how you got here, but you can't buy this version of Windows."
Of course I cannot do any customization on my machine because not having an active copy locks Personalization features up, and eventually of course it will shut me down. Also, I have tried to contact support for this, but that has not worked either.
Please advise on how to proceed.
