Bitlocker: Removing Encrypted Internal HD

Windows 10 Pro crashed on bitlocker enabled PC. Cannot boot. Scans show no hardware issues. I have bitlocker key. If I physically remove the internal hard drives, will the bitlocker key decrypt them on another computer with Windows 7 Pro OS? If so how would I use the bitlocker key on the Windows 7 Pro computer?

I used a sata to USB converter.

But it depends a lot on the converter, if it is a 2.5 inch disk, the converter does not need a power supply, if it is a 3.5 inch disk it is necessary to use a power supply.

In the last case, the option will be to connect it directly to the motherboard.

    Thanks again, Paloma,

When you connected to old drive to the new computer, did you insert the old drive into the new computer or did you use a cable to connect the old drive by usb?

It was nothing, it's a pleasure to be able to try to help you.

I had to physically remove it to connect to the other computer.

    Thanks, Paloma,

Did you physically remove the bitlocker hard drive and install it in the second computer? Or did you do a peer to peer connection between the computers? If possible I prefer to do a peer to peer connection to avoid having to physically remove the hard drives.

    Hello, how are you?

My name is Paloma B., I am very happy to be able to try to help you in the best possible way.

I understand that you had problems with your computer, I'm sorry about that.

I believe so, that it is possible to disable the encryption of this disk on another computer.

I had a problem like this, and I managed to disable it by connecting the disk to another computer, but I had Windows 10 too.

Connect the disk to another computer and check the following options.

First go into Windows Explorer, and there is usually an option to decrypt the drive by right-clicking on it.

Or also check in the control panel, accessing the following path:

Start -> Control Panel -> System and Security and under BitLocker Drive Encryption

Check the MS link below for more information please.

    I await news.
