Cannot log into computer

Quick backstory: I had two microsoft acccounts (one hotmail, one gmail). I wanted to use my gmail address as my only microsoft account. I followed the steps (or so I believed) to make the changes to my computer, and the hotmail account was deleted by ms 30 days later. Now I am not able to log into the computer; it doesn't open using the gmail account and doesn't recognize the hotmail account (as it has been deleted). When I choose the option that I can't remember my password, I am asked to reset it but it is only resetting my Microsoft account password, not the one to open the computer.

It seems the computer is in some limbo, didn't change to new account, not responding to deleted account.

The password I am supposed to be entering is to unlock the computer. I don't want to have a security password on this computer since it is in our kitchen used for quick homework internet searches, recipes, music apps, FB, etc. Prior to the Windows 10 update, I wasn't required to have password. After the last update it seemed as though I had to make a password in order to finish the install.

The computer in question is a Dell 2-in-one tablet/computer.

Any ideas? Also, why can I not find a telephone number to talk to an actual person from Microsft about this?

Thank you!

Staci

Thank your your reply. This does not work. When I get to the command prompt page it asks me for the password to the deleted MS account. There is no option to enter the new admin information you suggest.
