Everything shrinking on computer screen on startup

I have an issue that I don't know how to fix.

A few weeks ago, I got a monitor for my computer.

Sometimes, randomly, when I start my computer EVERYTHING shrunk in size, including the taskbar, app icons, and even Google Chrome. I had to shut down and restart several times to get it back to normal size. Someone please tell me why this happens all the time. I really don't know how to solve this issue. Thanks.

    Hi Dave,

Today when I started my computer it's still the same, I've tried to shutdown and restart several times but to no avail. I have already downloaded the recommended version or the video card device driver but it's still the same. I think I found out how to solve the problem. I just sign out and it'll return to normal when I sign back in. if it happens again, I'll let you know. Thanks!

    Hi Nick,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Your description indicates your graphics card drivers are not loading correctly.

You should completely remove the current video card device driver using the widely available free DDU utility, then restart your PC and go to the support page for your PC on the manufacturer's website to download and install their recommended version of the video card device driver.
