Windows 10 Update

Hello

On Update&Security tab there is an upgrade to Windows 11 available waiting for me to review the license terms, accept them for the upgrade to begin, and to take effect. At this moment I do not want to install Windows 11 but this is preventing the installation of updates to windows 10 that are available.

How to overcome this?

Thank you

Regards

Henrique

-Hi, my name is Claudeir, I'm happy to help you!

Updates corresponding to Windows 10 not available in Optional Updates?

Click on Advanced Options and uncheck the 'Get updates for other Microsoft products' option

If that doesn't work, restart Windows update:

Windows+R> type: services.msc> press enter> Startup type: Automatic, now click Stop. Apply and ok. Restart PC and test.

I understand, thanks for the information, well, your Windows 10 is up to date, I believe that these updates available under Windows 10 are only required to update to Windows 11, but as you don't want to have Windows 11, it's not necessary, once you have an update important to Windows 10, you will definitely be able to choose and upgrade.

    Yours sincerely,

    Claudeir

    Hello Claudeir

    Windows version: 10 21H2

Yes, I did stop the process and restart the pc.

The only option I have is to review the license terms to install windows 11. I do not have available the option to install the windows 10 updates.

    Please look at the photo.

    Thank you.

What is your version of the system?

    Windows+R> Winver> press enter.

Did you stop the process and restart your PC?

When clicking to upgrade, you can't choose not to upgrade to Windows 11 but only install Windows 10?

If you upgrade to Windows 11 and want to go back, just go to settings>system>recovery.

    Yours sincerely,

    Claudeir

    Hello Claudeir

Thank you for your reply. On the Advanced Options, the the 'Get updates for other Microsoft products' was already off, and changing the startup type to automatic did not help.

    Regards

    Henrique
