So I opened task manager and first I saw that Netflix is open which it was not and then three other programs with it and one of them was the runtime broker, I checked the file location of the runtime broker and it is the official windows one but why is it under Netflix?

It basically means it runs in the background.

Runtime Broker is used to determine whether universal apps you got from the Windows Store, usualling declaring all of their permissions, like being able to access your location or microphone.

    Hi AydenKahn

Oh,yes. Runtime broker helps manage the app permissions and ensures that apps are behaving themselves.

    I hope it helps!
