Windows 11 Update error

I am trying to install windows 11 on my computer. When I run the Windows 11 Installation Assistant, it says something went wrong. I have tried multiple times and it still shows the same error, 0xa0000400. I have tried troubleshooting a lot and nothing has worked. I am really confused about what to do next. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do to fix this?

Seems like the Installation Assistant still does not work when run as an administrator. I will try to manually upgrade soon. Thanks!

    Hi Naman,

I am Sumit here to assist you with this question.

Right-click the Installation Assistant, and choose Run as administrator. See if it clears 0xa0000400. If not, download the ISO file and perform a manual upgrade.

    Download Windows 11

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/software-downlo...

Alternatively, download an ISO file and Run Setup.exe to Start the Upgrade, using Windows 11 Media Creation Tool.

All the steps, including MCT and Installation Assistant, are covered here:

Hope that helps and keep us posted.
