Windows 11 Installation Error

Hi, I'm trying to upgrade Windows 10 to 11. I ran the Health Check before I started and it said my system is compatible.

I downloaded and tried running the Windows 11 Installation Assistant, but received error saying Not Enough Disk Space and error 0x80070070.

If I go to Settings > Windows Update it says it can't download updates and gave error 0x800f0805.
I went to Troubleshoot > Additional Troubleshooters > Get up and Running > Windows Update and it can't find anything wrong with my system. No problems even show up.

Is there a way to fix this?
Thanks :)

This is something I didn't expect. When I do this, it runs directly as an administrator.

Anyway, I am glad to hear that your problem has been solved. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask in the Microsoft community.

Hey, thanks for your suggestions. :)

I figured out what the problem was. Even though I double clicked the installer and allowed changes to the computer, it didn't mean it was being run as an Administrator by default. I had to right click on it, select run as Administrator and it worked fine after. Windows 11 is different, will take a bit of getting used to but that's OK.

Hope that doesn't trip anyone else up. :)

    Maybe 6.71GB are not enough.

Can you clear up more space?

    Hey,
    I have 6.71GB free.
I was able to update my PC my downloading the update my PC by downloading the installer update directly from Microsoft. My PC is now completely updated but still get the message of Not Enough Disk Space and error 0x80070070.
I have an external hard drive set up if it needs the space as well, but that doesn't seem to fix it.
