Backup error message

Weekly, I run a system backup. I always receive the message Backup encountered a problem while backing up file C:\Users\jacsd\OneDrive\Pictures\Saved Pictures. Error:(STATUS_WAIT_2 (0x80070002)). The folder is empty.

Is this something to be concerned about?

The problem isn't in your backup procedure. The thing is that File History, Backup and Restore, and System Image functions in Windows 10 are partially broken or unavailable. At this moment, Microsoft doesn't maintain them anymore and plans to remove these features completely.

That's why they are advising users to get a third-party backup and recovery tool. I would suggest something like NAKIVO Backup & Replication as it is a reliable and comprehensive solution.

-Hi, my name is Claudeir, I'm happy to help you!

Go to that folder and see if it really is empty, if it is, there's nothing to worry about, as OneDrive can't back up because the folder is empty, so it reports this with an error.

-Feel free to leave your opinion, marking as answered if the answer helped, or leaving more details so that we can continue the service, this is very important to us.
