Hello! I have downloaded resident evil 5 from ocean of games site. As soon as it downloads, windows defender detects it as a threat and hampers the installation. Should I add it as an exception to the windows firewall? I want to play this game very badly...

Normally, Microsoft Defender is able to completely remove it.
Try restart your PC and then run a full system scan with Microsoft Defender.
Does it perform the scan?
In case it completed the scan and there wasn't any notification, then it means no malware have been detected.
If there was any malware, you should see in the list of malwares in the Windows Security.
If there is no new malware there, then nothing has been detected.
Hi Aryan
I am Dave, I will help you with this.
Cracked games downloaded from hack sites like Ocean of Games often do contain plenty of malware, you should not create an exemption in your firewall you will leave your PC open to a malware attack.
Hi Aryan, glad to help, well done, that is a good choice!
Yes sir. I was thinking the same and I didn't proceed any further. My PC's health comes first. Hence I contacted Microsoft experts. Thank you sir. Have a great day!!
