Hi so recently my computer turned pretty slow and when I checked on task manager, no other resource was having problems except the disk. My disk is an Intel optan 512 gb ssd h10. Its currently (only with chrome running) at 95%. The funny thing is that when I opened my antivirus (kaspersky) the disk usage went from 98% to 69%. Do you suppose its a virus attack? Note that this occured after updating my completely eligible pc to windows 11.

Hello saltgrass, it seems that the problem has been fixed. A paint 3d window was open in another desktop and that was what caused the issue. Thanks for helping!

It should be in the Device manager or the component-Disks section of msinfo32.exe. I am just trying to understand why the Optane reference is for, in case that type of drive is available and not just Optane Memory..

How do you find the model number exactly? Is it via device manager?

Many things can run a drive or processor when the system is not being used. anti-Virus and Windows maintenance utilities are sometimes the cause.

Do you have a model number for the Intel drive you mention in your post?
